Regain strength, function, and confidence after joint replacement

Following surgical correction or replacement of joints or other structures, patients typically require rest and then gradual return to function. Linda is experienced at working with patients in both the acute phase (immediately post-operative) and rehabilitation phases of recovery. A return to function takes as long as it needs to for you as a unique and singular person with unique and singular needs. Linda can tailor a program for you to restore range of motion, muscular strength, weight-bearing capacity and dynamic function. As always, your work with Linda begins with a thorough and complete evaluation. Then she will guide you throughout recovery beginning with supervised exercise sessions, progressing to a combination of clinic sessions and exercises you do at home. Ultimately, you will progress to working on your own with periodic supervision and modification as needed.
